TRANSFERS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
All transfers must be completed through the official Eventmaster transfer system.
This ensures entry is placed in the new runner’s name so they receive their race number in the post and all important race communications, event updates, and their official race results.
To keep the race fair and safe for everyone, entries cannot be sold, swapped, or transferred outside of the Eventmaster system.
Please note that charity entries are strictly non-transferable and you can only transfer a ticket received from the original ballot entry.
Any transfers outside the official process will be cancelled.
FEE
There is a €10 transfer fee (plus platform and payment charges) charged to the runner receiving the entry.
HOW TO PROCESS YOUR TRANSFER:
1. Log in to your Eventmaster account using the email address used when registering.
2. Go to My Tickets and select your Dublin City Council Dublin City Half Marathon order.
3. Select Ticket Transfer.
4. Enter the name and email address of the person you want to transfer the ticket to and click Start Transfer.
5. A confirmation message will appear confirming that the transfer has been created.
6. The person receiving the transfer will receive an email with a link to process the transfer.
7. The recipient can accept or decline the transfer. If accepted, they will complete the required registration details and proceed to payment.
8. The recipient must accept the transfer and complete the €10 transfer fee payment (and charges) before Wednesday 8 April at 11:59 PM for the transfer to be finalised.
IF A TRANSFER IS DECLINED:
If the person you send the transfer to declines it, you can start a new transfer through your Eventmaster account and send it to another runner. If the transfer option is no longer visible in your Eventmaster account, please contact Eventmaster Support at support@eventmaster.ie.
RECEIVING A TRANSFER:
VERIFY
If you are receiving a transfer and wish to verify the authenticity of the ticket, you can do so here. You can verify this through Eventmaster by entering the email address of the ticket holder and the order ID. Please note that it is your responsibility to verify that a ticket is real and not Eventmaster nor the Dublin Marathon Group.
PAY & ACCEPT
Once you verify and accept your ticket, you will be asked to pay the €10 transfer (plus platform and payment charges).
Following this, you will be directed to a page where you can provide your contact information, best half marathon time, and estimated finish time for the 2026 Dublin City Council Dublin City Half Marathon. It is important to fill this out as accurately as possible as this will impact the wave you are allocated for the race.
KEY INFORMATION:
Registered participants can transfer their entry to another runner through their Eventmaster account during the transfer window.
A €10 transfer fee (plus platform and payment charges) will be charged to the runner receiving the entry.
The recipient must accept the transfer and complete the €10 transfer fee payment (and charges) before Wednesday 8 April at 11:59 PM. If this is not completed before the deadline, the transfer will not be finalised.
Once the transfer has been accepted and the €10 transfer fee (and charges) has been paid through Eventmaster, the transfer is final and cannot be reversed.
This transfer does not include a refund to the original entry holder. Eventmaster only processes the €10 transfer fee as part of the official transfer process.
The payment for the entry beyond the €10 transfer fee should be arranged directly between the original participant and the runner receiving the transfer. Please note that neither Eventmaster nor the Dublin Marathon Group are involved in or responsible for any payments agreed between participants.
Each entry can only be transferred once, and the runner receiving the transfer cannot transfer it again to another individual.
